Ms. Asma AL Abhari

Asma AL Abhari holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from The University of Jordan (Jordan)and she is a member in Jordanian Society of Occupational Therapy (Jordan).

She has 12 years of experience in this field eight years of them in Dubai, Asma has worked in several institutions and specialized schools with infants, children, and teenagers suffering from different disabilities:

– Learning difficulties (Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, DCD, ADD/ADHD), Developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder.

– Asma also worked in different nurseries with preschool children (early intervention) in order to detect any motor development delay. She attended several training, seminars, and conferences to serve her patients better and for personal growth.

– Asma is studying to be certified in Ayres Sensory Integration and she believes that sensory integration is the essential foundation for functional skills to develop. She has given parent and teacher lectures on how to use sensory integration to improve the focus, learning potential, and behaviour of children.
