How XERF Works

XERF delivers controlled monopolar radiofrequency energy using two frequencies — 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz. The system offers three depth settings and ten intensity levels, allowing the practitioner to personalize treatment according to the patient’s skin and treatment area.

Heating collagen-rich structures can produce an initial tightening response while triggering longer-term tissue remodeling and collagen production. Published clinical research describes both immediate collagen contraction and progressive remodeling following treatment.

The manufacturer states full-face treatments can be completed in 45 minutes or less, with little to no pain and minimal downtime.

For number of sessions, I would deliberately write “personalized following consultation” rather than promising everyone one session. Clinical research has evaluated XERF after a single session, while the manufacturer’s own before/after examples also include patients treated twice.

When Will I See Results?

Some tightening may be noticeable following treatment as collagen responds to RF heating. Improvement can continue progressively as collagen remodeling takes place over the following weeks and months. Individual results and timelines vary.
