Dr. Lina Alejandro

Dr. Lina Alejandra Rengifo Angel hails from Espinal-Tolima, Colombia. She commenced her
academic journey at San Martin University, completing her pre-med studies and earning her
General Practitioner degree in December 2012. Dr. Rengifo furthered her medical training with a
residency at Simon Bolivar Hospital, culminating in March 2020. Subsequently, she pursued
fellowships in Gynecology and Obstetrics at El Bosque University of Bogota, Colombia.

With a wealth of experience in gynecologic surgery spanning seven years, Dr. Rengifo
specializes in hysteroscopic procedures, curettages, conization, vaginal deliveries, cesarean
sections, Pomeroy, hysterectomies, and vaginal aesthetics. Her focus extends to the care of
medically complex antenatal cases, pregnancies, and postpartum care.

Outside of her medical pursuits, Dr. Rengifo finds joy in spending quality time with her family,
cycling, and exploring new destinations.

Her contributions to the medical field include noteworthy publications such as “Fetal
Implications of Isotretinoin: Urgent! Careful Prescription. Case Report and Review of
Literature,” presented in August 2017 in Pereira-Colombia, and “Hyperglycemia in Pregnant
Patients with Toxoplasmosis at the Simón Bolivar Hospital in the Period 2014 to 2016.” Dr.
Rengifo showcased her clinical expertise with a presentation on “Adnexal Torsion: Clinical
Presentation and Laparoscopic Management” at the 17th Biennial Obstetrics and Gynecology
Workshop in March 2019 in Bogotá, Colombia, where she secured the 2nd place.

Currently, Dr. Rengifo is a valued member of the 7 Dimensions Medical Center team in Dubai.
Her enthusiasm for contributing to the medical community and her commitment to patient care
